Riordan Clinic

Written by Michelle Niesley, ND, MS, FABNO

Dear Health Hunters,
I am excited to share something new with you today. After years of watching our co-learners search for a program that finally connects the dots, one that combines real data, real food, and real
support, we are proud to introduce Beyond the Pen: The Metabolic Restoration Program.

This is a 12-module online curriculum built for anyone who recognizes the early warning signs of metabolic syndrome: rising blood pressure, stubborn weight around the middle, blood sugar
that will not settle, or the quiet fatigue so many of us have learned to just live with. It is designed for people newly noticing these changes in themselves, for our current co-learners who want
a structured next step in their care, and for anyone using or considering a GLP-1 medication who wants the habits that make those results last.

Beyond the Pen was built on a simple idea Dr. Hugh Riordan championed decades ago: measure, measure, measure. Each module walks you through the same kind of metabolic scoring our
clinical team uses every day, tracking your own numbers alongside the lived, day to day symptoms that numbers alone cannot capture. You will learn how to read your own body composition, blood pressure, and lab markers, and just as importantly, what to do next with that information.

But this program is not something you do alone at a desk. Every module is paired with weekly group coaching sessions, the same kind of community support that has always been at the heart of Real Health Discovery here at Riordan Clinic.

You will move through the curriculum alongside other co-learners working through the same challenges, celebrating the same small wins,
and holding each other accountable week to week. I want to be honest about why this matters to me personally. Over my years in integrative and naturopathic medicine, I have seen how often people are handed a prescription and sent on their way, with no real plan for the lifestyle changes that make the difference over time. Beyond the Pen exists because we believe you deserve both: sound clinical guidance and a genuine community walking beside you.

Whether you are just beginning to notice the early signs of metabolic syndrome, already working with our team here at Riordan Clinic, or navigating a GLP-1 medication and wanting the habits to make it last, this program was built with you in mind. We are opening enrollment soon, and I could not be more excited to welcome our first cohort of co-learners. With gratitude,
MICHELLE NIESLEY, ND, MS, FABNO
